Willie le Roux and Holly Clare Nichol Tie the Knot

Springbok Willie le Roux and his long-term partner, Holly Clare Nichol, have shared the first glimpse into their elaborate wedding today, Monday 12 February.

The newlyweds took to Instagram to share some of their favourite pictures from the wedding ceremony and festivities, which took place on Saturday, 10 February, in the small wine town of Franschhoek, Western Cape.

“Mr and Mrs Le Roux,” Nichol said as she shared three snapshots of the joyful proceedings.

Rachel Kolisi, the wife of Le Roux’s renowned teammate Siya Kolisi, was quick to offer her support to the young couple. “Guys!” she said with a series of emotional emojis, “So happy for you! Congratulations!”

Le Roux popped the question to Nichol – who is a qualified nutritionist – in June last year at an undisclosed location with a dam in the background and scatterings of rose petals to set the tone.

For those who are eager to see more of the Springboks tying the knot, they won’t have long to wait as Manie Libbok and his partner, Verna Arries, will be following suit soon. The couple also got engaged last year and may be eager to take advantage of the popular summer months.
